Goddess of .. Flirty, Fun and Fabulous !

The three imperative "F"s :

Flirty.
Fun.
F*ckin' Fabulous !

That's my new motto, for the summer. Why you ask ?
Why not, I say. Because I can, Because I want to, Because I will be.

I'm tired of whining about stuff.
I'm tired of being depressed.
I'm tired of being tired.

It's time to be happy now.
I'm 25 years old.

I'm healthy.
I'm happy.
and I'm pretty.

Yay !*
*Fine, maybe I overdid it when I decided to have a coffee at 10pm. Oh well.

I have a new list up on Shoptopia :

That means following the three "F"s this summer, Bloggies.

If you're happily married : Flirt with your husband !
If you're self-conscious : Challenge yourself to act confident and have fun with it !

No more excuses, just be happy.
Just do it.
Yes, that means now :)

Goddess of .. Big news for the New Year !

Ahem. Ahem.

insert lame excuse here >

I'm sorry. The truth is, I've been procrastinating. God, I love using big words. They make me feel so smart and superior and .. okay, shut it.

{Forgive me, pretty pretty please ?}

The bottom line is :

New year = New Look

But not for me, silly. Although I could use a haircut of some sort but I'm not really set on what I want just yet and I really just wanna grow my hair long so, you know .. and .. okay, shut it.

I plan on changing my blog theme for a 3-column template. I find that there's never enough room for all the things I wanna add on the sidebar.. and it doesn't help that I have the longest blogroll ever .. but ya know, I love you bloggies.

I haven't picked it out yet but I'm sure it'll still be girly and I hope you'll like it enough to keep coming back around here. Please don't get lost ..

HAPPY NEW DECADE BLOGGIES !!!

2010, Here I come bitches !

Goddess of .. Hot Yoga & sweaty shirtless men !

Bloggies, I tried something new last night.

I've been wanting to go back to the gym for a while now and didn't do anything about it. Being newly single and not having that someone "who accepts you as you are or who knows your flaws" has made me want to better myself.

Lolita
and her cousin talked to me about Hot Yoga so I decided to jump on board last night.

Hot yoga "is a style of yoga developed by Bikram Choudhury and a Los Angeles, California based company. Bikram Yoga is ideally practiced in a room heated to 105°F (40.5°C) with a humidity of 40%. Classes are guided by specific dialogue including 26 postures and two breathing exercises. Classes last approximately 90 minutes. Beginners may take Bikram's yoga classes."
Thanks Wikipedia.org

After 20 minutes, I wanted to run out of the room screaming and gasping for air. It was suffocating. Don't get me wrong, I've taken yoga classes but this ... well this ... was like trying to breathe under water. Your chest feels constricted and the warm air is everywhere (around you, inside your throat, everywhere). There's no breeze, no cool air, at all.

After 30 minutes, we were done with the standing postures which required the most balance. They're the thoughest ones for me, I can't stand on one leg so it was a major challenge (not even talking about the suffocation here).

I got nauseous and my heart was racing so fast that I sat/laid down for the next 30 minutes. Even after laying down for 10 minutes my heart was still racing. This sh*t is bananas, bloggies.

I did manage to pull myself together for the last 20-30 minutes of the class which included the floor postures, my favorites.

Before, I never would've imagined it could be this warm, it was like a sauna in there. Everyone was sweating like crazy and all the men were shirtless (which I cannot complain about, miammm).

Overall, I guess I'm proud of what I accomplished and it helped me deal with my Break-up feelings but during the class, it made me want to kill myself ! Lolita and her cousin insisted I give it another chance because the first time is the worse apparently. So bloggies, I'm going back tonight !

Breathe deeper. Aim higher. Be better.

Goddess of.. Spa day & happiness !

Dearest bloggies,

As you know, I have been suffering from a bad case of the bitch-complains-a-lot recently. However, this weekend has caused a break-trough I think.. Miguel had offered me a gift certificate for a spa-day when I passed the Bar last year. What a blessing .. I can't believe it took me almost a whole year (minus one week) to go to the spa. It was the best time I've had in a loooong time. I spent 4 hours just relaxing and being pampered. How wonderful !

All I could think, the whole time I was there, was how blessed I am to have such a wonderful boyfriend and an overall wonderful life! Sure, times are rough, but aren't they for everyone?! Plus, I really shouldn't complain, there are worse things than being tight money-wise.

I spent a whole afternoon enjoying a therapeutic mud bath, californian massage, sushi lunch, eating fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, dried fruits and most importantly, silence ! There were lots of couples at the spa and although it seemed nice for them, I really can't imagine Miguel at the spa, wearing a robe (HA-HA-HA!) and getting his feet rubbed by a stanger. LOL.

Alrighty bloggies, this is Aritza, reporting for the balcony and enjoying life to the fullest with the warmth of the sun reflecting on my pale skin ! Ahhh... that's the life !

My new resolution : Don't worry, be happy Bitch !

Blogging is my new year's resolution. A little late, but, none the less important. I've recently started a new job and find myself bored multiple times a day.
