Goddess of .. Where in The World Wednesday - Volume 2 !

The lovely Jessica @ Classy in Philly started a feature called :

the Where In The World wednesdays !
"Basically, each week I will post a new picture of me in some place I've traveled to (or if not me, a photo I took at a place I traveled to).

If a lot of people participate, it will be a fun way to see where some of our favorite bloggers have traveled! It doesn't have to be recent, it doesn't have to be somewhere foreign or tropical. Just anywhere you consider traveling!"
I haven't been posting this feature regularly yet because it seems like all my good travel pictures are not digital. Can you believe it ? I haven't been traveling to very interesting destinations since cameras started using digital formats. HAHA.. not funny, lol. Mama needs a vacation. Anywho, it might be a while before I decide to scan pictures of my trips to France, Italy or Greece .. so until then, it'll mostly be pictures of little trips around the good 'ole U.S. of A.

Today's feature : My parents offered to take me on a roadtrip accross New England when I turned 18.. and aside from the constant bickering between my parents .. I remember I got to live one of my biggest dreams at the time : Surfing !

I remember being sooooo sore the day after .. my abs and arms were ripping apart but it was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful I got to try it.

In fact, I even added "try surfing again" to my 30 before 30 list .. I loved it so much !

Hahaha, good memories .. Wetsuits I look so dorky !

Stopping by from Classy in Philadelphia's WITWW post...hello!

What a great shot of you & the surfboard. You are far braver than I am. While I love going to the beach, I am too much of a chicken to actually get out in the water & enjoy it.

Thanks for commenting on my post! I'm new to WITWW, but I'm trying to get around to everyone else's too. The pics are SO great! Surfing IS hard. I never really got the hang of it, so I admire anyone who tries!

I'm so jealous...I'd love to learn how to surf. I can't imagine how much it probably hurts though! Yikes.

Thanks again for participating :)

I've always kind of wanted to learn to surf. Looks like a lot of fun, although I think I probably would suck at it!

@ Michelle : Thanks for stopping by :) I didn't really fear surfing.. I always wanted to do it. Fortunately, in Maine, the waves are baby waves .. nothing of the Hawaiian variety ! haha !

@ Feris : New England is beautiful indeed, if you get the chance, try to visit Boston .. it's beautiful and full of history !

@ Jaxie : Thanks for visiting :) I really wanna try surfing again because one time wasn't enought to really get the hang of it.. it's so hard even just to stand up on the board, haha.

@ Classy in Philly : I hope you get to try it some day, it's super fun ! I'm sure we'd get some abs in no time if we did it on the regular, it's so demanding, to pull yourself up on the board.. crazy :) but fun !

@ P : Thanks for visiting ! Ah :) it's true, we're a little (lot) sucky in the beginning but with practice, I'm sure we could manage ! You should try it :)

@ Cleo : Awwww thank you ! I'll try to post it soon :)
