Hahaha, so amazing, I'm actually making a living as a writer now !
Full-time job as a web editor
for a company that publishes a newsletter weekly
featuring the very best travel deals available
online for that week !
It's awesome,
I was basically spending my days
comparing travel deals online anyway :)
So now I get to search & write about the deals I find
& I'll be getting paid for it !
After a year at a crappy job that I really hated &
8 months of (semi)-unemployment, I finally found something that I think will make me happy !
YAY me !

Congrats! Welcome back to being a working girl! and yes, tell us about the really good deals...like Paris for $200 or less...I know I'm dreaming, but that's about where my budget is right now!

Why yes, I do. Your negativity is not welcomed on my blog. I understand fully if you don't like what I write and / or don't agree with me, but if you're just here to be mean, please take your business elsewhere.
I just commented that I take exception to you calling yourself a "writer" when what you are is a trained lawyer that can't find work in her field and is going to be copy editing for an online publication. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that per se, but it's offensive to those of us who are actual WRITERS that you toss the term around in such a frivolous way. It shows how very little you understand the field. That would be like me going to traffic court and successfully defending myself against a traffic ticket and calling myself a lawyer! Delete the criticism if you like but if you can't stand the heat in the blogospheric kitchen sweetheart then maybe you need to rethink calling yourself something you are not in a public forum!

I always look for ways to better myself and I will definitely take your comment into consideration for the future. I would love it if you could send me a copy of your book/stories/publications so I can better "understand the field" as you say .. and see what a "real" writer sounds like.
